Senior Brand Advocate | MarketStar Corporation | Los Angeles, CA
MarketStar's Mobile Audio program currently has opportunities available
in the Los Angeles/Orange County market for a Sr. Brand Advocate who
will be responsible to manage and grow positive relationships and focus
on all sales and training activities of client products within assigned
locations in the territory.
Assumes responsibility for managing an assigned territory and achieving
goals set forth by client and MarketStar management. Provides
execution of client merchandising objectives at the retail outlet level.
Educates and trains store personnel on client products and programs;
provides assisted selling to end users where appropriate. Responsible
for delivering and presenting the client's products and features in
conformance with established ethical business practices guidelines.
Trains small and large groups as necessary. Builds productive
relationships with assigned store personnel. Provides timely and
effective communication with store management. Accurately completes
reporting functions in a timely manner. Reviews store business plan and
adjusts to store and product needs. Identifies activities or promotions
required to increase sales. Mentors newly hired Brand Advocates.
In addition to the duties above, the Sr. Brand Advocate will be
responsible for overseeing specific program details such as reporting,
expenses, client communication, and payroll.
Training - Train sales associates and managers on the features and
benefits of client's products. Training would be conducted in both
formal and informal settings.
Sales - Track sales success and inhibitors in assigned locations.
Coordinate sales plans and gain commitments for training,
assisted-selling and special events to increase client sell through.
Data Capture - Collect and report visit data as well as competitive data
in electronic call reports.
Territory Management - Prioritize and coordinate store visits. Work with
managers and owners to coordinate all aspects of the client's in-store
presence and sales success.
Account Management - Review and approve timesheets and expense vouchers.
Work with Business Intelligence group to review and distribute
intelligence and activity reports. Communicate tactics and strategy with
team and with client contacts via regular conference calls. Regular
communication with program director.
Education/Certification
College degree preferred
Experience Required
At least three years of experience selling and/or installing mobile
audio in the Consumer Electronic Retail Channel
Previous personnel management experience in the retail channel required
Previous experience managing a mobile audio sales/installation operation highly preferred
MECP certification desired
Bilingual - Spanish required
Knowledge/Skills
Strong presentation and training skills
Strong computer skills (e.g. MS Office)Must have reliable transportation
Must reside in a centrally-located area within the assigned territory
Must be willing to work weekends, as needed
